King Baldwin’s sister Victoria and head master are imprisoned: As we saw in episode 2, Salahuddin will attack the fleet supporting Askal. The fleet was accompanied by Princess Victoria and the Grand Master. And the news of this attack also reached Gabriel.
In episode 3 we saw that Saladin captured Princess Victoria and the headmaster. Gabriel arrives to rescue them but Salahuddin demands the return of Askalan, Suraiya Hatun’s brother and all the prisoners in exchange for Princess Victoria and the headmaster.

Princess Victoria refused to exchange the fact that she was King Baldwin’s sister and Gabriel’s lover. At one point, Gabriel offered Salahuddin a single fight. Whoever wins gets what he wants. Salahuddin also agreed to this proposal. Just then Suraiya Hatun’s fellow warrior Shahsuvar Ashkalan shot Gabriel with an arrow from behind. Then Gabriel backs down unconditionally.
And Salahuddin took the prisoners.
King Baldwin intervenes in Ascalan and captures Gabrielle’s soldiers: King Baldwin blames Victoria’s brother Gabriel for the capture of Princess Victoria by Salahuddin because Gabriel could not rescue Princess Victoria. A last-ditch threat backfires, and Ezzeddin is given one last chance to help rescue the prisoners, or Gabriel will reveal that Ezzeddin is helping him with information. And Sultan Nuruddin gave Salahuddin one day to find out who the traitor was. Salahuddin sets another trap but Melik Nusreddin tells Gabriel about the trap. Betrayal of Suraiya Hatun Salahuddin: Gabriel goes to Suraiya Hatun and says that he will release Halil on one condition. The condition is that Salahuddin will be freed if he cooperates in freeing Victoria and the headmaster by removing Salahuddin from the prisoners’ position. At first Suraiya Hatun does not agree, but at one point he gives in and lies and removes Salahuddin from the prisoners’ place.
Gabriel intercepts Saladin and his fellow soldiers midway and informs him that Suraiya Hatun betrayed Salahuddin in exchange for her brother.
Sultan Nuruddin was seriously injured: When Salahuddin left the fortress, a masked crusader stormed the fortress to rescue the prisoners. Sultan Nooruddin came out with masked prisoners and stormed the Ghat.
